Meet Hannah ☀️

Trainer, educator, and the human behind Mellow Mutt. I help dogs and their people build calm, connected routines so they can enjoy real life together.

Why I Started Mellow Mutt

Mellow Mutt was built for people who love their dog and still feel stuck.

Before I was a trainer, I was a pharmacist. I had the career, the structure, and everything I was “supposed” to want, but something felt off. I didn’t see myself doing it forever.

What I really cared about was being outside, working with animals, and helping people feel more at ease in their lives. I wanted to do work that mattered to both sides of the leash.

That’s how Mellow Mutt came to life. I started this business to support dog owners who are trying their best, who love their dogs deeply, and who just need a little help creating structure that works. I now live and train full-time in Fort Myers, Florida, working with dogs and owners one-on-one to create more peaceful, balanced homes.

 My Approach to Training

Training should make your life easier, not more overwhelming.

My training style is calm, practical, and designed for real life. That means helping you understand your dog’s behavior, teaching them how to live in your world, and creating routines that actually stick.

Whether we’re working through leash pulling, anxiety, reactivity, or puppy chaos, we focus on communication, not just commands. I’ll show you how to read your dog, lead them confidently, and set up a lifestyle that supports both of you.

You don’t need to be a perfect dog owner. You just need someone who can show you the way forward.

What I believe

Every dog deserves structure. Every owner deserves support.

  • You can’t enjoy your dog if you’re constantly managing them.

  • Training should be built around your lifestyle, not the other way around.

  • Dogs feel better when we give them clear expectations.

  • Most problems aren’t permanent, they just need the right plan.
